I, the undersigned, assume complete responsibility and liability for any and all modification/alterations made to the bat(s) by the BAT DOCTOR.NET. I understand and am in agreement with the BAT DOCTOR that all pre-rolled and shaved bats sold as well as any and all bats sent in for the purpose of shaving and rolling are no longer legal to use in sanctioned leagues, tournaments, or other associations where such modifications are deemed illegal. These modified softball/baseball bats are used for the purpose of home run derbies, exhibitions, or leagues where there are no bat restriction. If you use such bats in leagues or tournaments where they are not permitted you will be fully responsible for any penalty or prosecution set forth by any person(s) or association(s).

I will indemnify and protect BAT DOCTOR.NET and its entire staff, members, partners, and managers innocent from any and all claims and or demands as a result of my misuse and or anyone else’s misuse of the modified bat(s). Such indemnity shall include but not be limited to any and all claim(s) and or demand(s) that result in injury due to the use or misuse of the modified bat despite the manner in which it was used legal or illegal.

In order to accomplish the shaving process minor alterations may have to be made to the bat(s); I give the BAT DOCTOR my consent and will not hold the BAT DOCTOR.NET liable for such alterations. I am in agreement with the BAT DOCTOR that the feel or balance of my bat(s) may be altered due to the shaving process and still give the BAT DOCTOR my consent to perform their services. There is no warranty if cracking or denting occurs as a result of the shaving process. I release and will not charge the BAT DOCTOR.NET and or its staff, members, partners, or managers with any claims as a result of the alterations needed to be made in order to perform the shaving process.

If any claims or legal action arise as a result of my misuse of bat(s) purchased or serviced performed the terms and conditions of this release form will be enforced to the fullest. Any and all legal costs, attorney fees that might be accrued as a result of legal action, demands, and or disputes will be reimbursed to BAT DOCTOR.NET.

Guide Lines:

I understand that by performing the shaving process the life of the bat will be decreased an average of 15% - 20% and it is not recommended to use them in batting cages or environments where the weather is below 65 degrees.
